Fortunately\, many complications are avoidable. This lecture will focus on the prevention\, recognition\, and management of complications related to exodontia. Basic surgical techniques will be reviewed along with appropriate case selection. An emphasis will be placed on the relationship between surgical expertise\, patient-specific factors\, level of difficulty\, and patient outcomes.
